Graduate students at the University of Denver have a number of funding opportunities available to them, including scholarships, assistantships, and research grants. Our graduate students receive nearly $56 million in institutional financial aid each year, funding exploration and innovation in every department.

Grants & Scholarships
Most funding from scholarships, grants and fellowships is offered on the basis of academic merit and awarded by a college, department or program, while others are awarded by external agencies. Funding is applied directly to your educational costs without a service or employment requirement.
Assistantships
Graduate assistantships give an average of 570 students the opportunity to gain valuable experience while engaging in research, teaching or work in academic or administrative offices on campus. Contact your graduate program directly about available opportunities.
External Funding
Some graduate students seek out private scholarships and awards to fulfill unmet costs. This can be a time-consuming process, so we recommend starting early.
